Loved the fresh Thali we had the other day which featured some of Rajasthan’s famous food along with soya bean, gatte ki sabzi, mixed vegetables. This is an unlimited thali which comes with papad, fresh homemade ghee roti’s, rice. The daal too is delicious. The sweet is less sweet and tastes just like home. Finally found a Rajasthani restaurant that serves authentic home made fresh food with so many options daily. It is absolutely worth the price. Do also try the masala chai they serve its just like home. Also I had their jalebis and it was delicious, crispy and just like Rajasthan. I am surely coming back for doodh Jalebi next time.
Sagar Ratna is a fully vegetarian restaurant located in Jumeirah Lake Towers and was our destination for a small gathering with friends. My family is from Rajasthan so they were particularly pleased with the dishes on offer at the restaurant and suggested we try it out. They are located right by the lake and have the option to dine indoors or outdoors. Being too hot, we had to choose to sit in but, a meal by the lake on a cool summer night would be a great idea too. Inside they have a small seating for about 18-20 people. ...
Sagar ratna is a real gem for lovers of rajasthani regional food. Where else can u get dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, garlic chutney n all with bursting flavour. The churma surely reminded me of the churma made by my grandma back in India. This restaurant is a hidden gem at the lakeside of JLT. It has undergone some renovations after which it looks much more appealing. Every time I am taking a walk by the lake, the aroma coming from this restaurant makes me want to go there again and again. Good luck with your venture 👍
